Dr Arthur Broomfield, Beckett scholar and poet, will be delivering a lecture, ‘Understanding Beckett’ in the Little Museum of Dublin, 15, St Stephen’s Green on Tuesday June 10th. The evening will begin with a wine reception at 6.30 pm. Dr Broomfield’s lecture will approach Beckett’s works from an original, radical position that will challenge orthodox interpretations of the writer’s works. The lecture will be followed by questions from the audience.It promises to be the cultural event of the year, one that those interested in Ireland’s outstanding writer could regret missing. Admission fee is 10 euro which can be paid through paypal, advised, or at the door.
